Wassail Singing Walk
The Singplicity Community Choir is all about offering people of any age or ability the opportunity to take part in acapella harmony singing for the fun of it. Pressure is taken off singers in the following ways:
- There are absolutely definitely no auditions
- No need to read music as songs are taught by ear (but it is available for those who prefer to have it)
- No concerts (although we do take part in some community activities such as busking, Christmas caroling and Wassailing – participation is always optional)
- You attend when you can or when you feel like it – I accept that some of you have busy lives!
We meet on a Tuesday morning in Ty Price in Monmouth from 10.30 – 12.00. Some of us then go for coffee and a catch-up – all are welcome. The group is informal and welcoming with a mix of ages, backgrounds and singing experience. We sing an eclectic mix of folk, pop, traditional and original songs from across the globe, all a capella.
