Regular Singing Groups

Singplicity singing groups are all about offering people of any age or ability the opportunity to take part in acapella harmony singing for the fun of it.

The pressure is taken off singers in the following ways:

  • No auditions
  • No need to read music as songs are taught by ear (but it is available for those who prefer to have it)
  • No concerts (although we do take part in some community activities such as busking, Christmas caroling and Wassailing – participation is always optional)
  • You attend when you can or when you feel like it – I accept that some of you have busy lives!

We’re now back to face to face singing and we are no longer singing in masks. Numbers are starting to increase weekly so if you’ve been holding back waiting for things to return to ‘normal’ – I think we’re getting there!

Summer Term, 21st June – 26th July 2022

Songs we will be singing this half-term – (Songs marked * can be found in the Singplicity Favourites Book; all can be found by clicking the link): Alleluia, Harbour, Take me Over*, Dear Someone*, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Okalo, (this last one is not up on the website yet, but it will be soon.) Please don’t panic if they are not familiar to you – they will all be taught by ear and no-one gets left behind!
